I have had the pleasure to work inside the Natchez Adams School District as a Permanent Sub. I taught from the Mississippi Curriculum Framer. I completed my very own lesson plans following the district pacing guides. I am a strong believe of different learning styles, while doing so I try to accommodate each style of learning. I have just recently graduated with my Masters from Ole Miss. I will begin my PhD in the fall. I have taught Health classes at the University for the past two years. I have much experience in math, science, and english with my past two degrees. I have tutored students in math, english, and science. I love to work with children who are eager to learn. I know that for most children having to study is not their top priority, so I try to make it fun. I am patient, and know that learning often takes repetition. I believe that most children have the power to learn, some just need some one on one attention.

As a Delta State University alum, it does my heart joy to be able to give back to my community. While at Delta State, I earned a bachelors degree in Exercise Science and minored in Nutrition. I went on to work as an Abstinence Coordinator for a non-profit organization, Youth Opportunities Unlimited, Incorporated. I taught children and teens various awareness topics. After a year of working with Y.O.U., I was offered a teaching position at the Quitman County Elementary School. I have been there for the past three years.
