I have earned two bachelor degrees which has given me the chance to motivate other youths and kids to seek the world and don't let it end with High school. There is more to life. Granting that Education is the key to success and without education there will be no sense of direction.

A Little Bit About Me...

I entered college to earn a degree in Art Education. Like many students I changed majors and ultimately received a BA of Psychology in 1997. While attending Emmanuel College, I was employed in their Office of Admissions. I learned valuable training and was recognized as an outstanding Admissions Counselor. These skills allowed me the opportunity to train, teach and tutor prospective Admissions counselors (approximately high school age). In addition, it allowed me the opportunity to work closely with prospective students and faculty. After college graduation I volunteered at Child and Family Services, Inc. in the Philippines. I believe that once a student can enjoy the process of learning they can begin to internalize the good study habits required for academic success. I use a constructivist teaching method and often use Socratic teaching as a means to have students thinking independently about their work. I am also interested in learning how each student learns so as to get the best results. I believe I'm a natural teacher, enthusiastic, intelligent, and an unusual memory for detail.
