I believe teaching is as much about the experience of learning as it is about the subject matter that is being taught. Not every student learns in the same way, or at the same pace. I am sensitive to the students needs and existing background in school to know what is acceptable and what is not acceptable. I evaluate the students strengths and weaknesses to find the best way for the student to learn the subject matter so that the knowledge takes root. A Little Bit About Me...

Each child is different. I always try to notice and acknowledge what benefits each student, as I think this applies to all forms of teaching from academics to athletics. Getting on their level is what ultimately benefits the child from the get go and gains their interest. If I'm interested, then the child is interested. I do my best to make sure the child is setting their goals and doing their best to achieve them in the way and style for which they are best suited.
I have two bachelors degrees, however, I believe it is my experience teaching children that has helped me develop a good sense on how to approaching teaching scenarios. I have years of experience teaching children in academics, music, and dramatic arts, as well as coaching basketball and teaching golf at the professional level.

While on active duty in the military, I completed my BS in Human Resource Development and I received Magna Cum Laude honors. I have learned extensive grammatical skills due to writing research papers and reports in various areas of study.
