My comments on tutoring Calculus I : Calculus is the basic college mathematics that students have difficulty with. I teach calculus by referencing how it is used in industry giving the student a grasp of the influence of calculus.

It has been my great pleasure to have taken part in several classroom setting teaching opportunities and numerous tutoring jobs. As I indicated, I have a B.A.in Philosophy and later studies in Art. Later, in 1975, I decided to return to obtain a DMD at BU. After that I joined the Army and served as an Army dentist. Due to events in my life following my brief sojourn in the Army, I traveled abroad to India and Asia. Upon returning, I continued to study, but this time in more spiritual matters. After graduating college, I worked as a structural engineer. As my experience grew, so did my responsibilities. I began getting younger interns in college and having to teach them theories and practices of engineering. The mathematics behind these theories involved, Algebra, Calculus, Geometry, and various other mathematics that I recently became certified in with the Florida Department of Education.
