One of the biggest accomplishments was watching of the students who detested writing papers because he did not believe he could do it, grow into a man who is not writing weekly papers confidently. Reading is one of my top subjects! I LOVE to read and would love to teach you all I know. I am not a speed reader, a teacher or have any training other than my personal schooling. I think I did an excellent job teaching my children to read and reading comprehension. They had a very high Vocabulary when they started school from all the reading we did.

Typing: 4 yrs. High School typing classes and years of typing on the home computer. I did take a couple R.O.P. classes on computer programs but have forgotten most of what I was taught since I didn't use it. I learn very quickly and can figure things out pretty well if I don't know how it works. I type 58 words per minute without looking at the keyboard. Drama: Involved with theater for approx. 5 to 6 yrs. On stage and back stage experience. No on camera experience. Also directed a show. Need Piano Lessons?

I am a 19 year old college student who is living in Murrieta for the next few summer months, and attends Cal State Fullerton. I have taken piano lessons for over 11 years now, and have a few years experience in teaching/tutoring in piano. My major concentration in college is Studio Art, and have also had experience in teaching art classes through M.A.D. Studio. Through experience in college and high school, I am also very familiar with Microsoft Office programs, and have helped those who are struggling in the newer editions of these MS programs.

Reading is one of my top subjects!

I have taught all core subjects plus art history for over 20 years using various state mandated materials and supplementals I purchased through special ed catalogs. Student outcomes were best with the supplementals due to limited attention span and high interest-low level materials. I use various methods to determine mastery- I create my own written or verbal assessments, writing assignments and have students maintain learning journals. I have a background in educational psychology which is useful in dealing with students with behavioral issues.
