Sculpting is one of my top subjects! Majoring in Fine Arts with an Art History emphasis and a concentration in mixed media at UNC Chapel Hill.

I have been taking visual arts classes and lessons since the age of 5 and am a current Fine Arts major with a concentration in mixed media and an emphasis in Art History at UNC Chapel Hill. I am experienced in working with children and was head soccer referee for the 5 to 9 year old division of the recreational league in Whiteville, NC from 2008 to 2010.

I earned a degree in Biology, which has fully equipped me for tutoring to children who have difficulties in any subject, but especially science. By being a Biology major I was exposed to all types of seminars, scientific research, labs and other various types of learning implements that have been beneficial in my teaching practices. In the past two years I have privately tutored two children from the ages of 5 and 7. I have tutored them in every subject from reading, and math to science projects. A Little Bit About Me...

I have children of my own and have always enjoyed experiencing learning through their eyes and observing the different ways in which they learn. I am comfortable working with all age ranges and can accommodate special needs that a student might have. I relate well with most children and view them as a whole child with many strengths and weaknesses. Each is unique and may require multiple modes of instruction.
