In terms of teaching style, I believe that different students require different teaching styles and techniques and I attempt to vary and utilize those based upon the specific needs of the student. As a more specific comment related to the teaching of Accounting/Finance, I believe that modeling Accounting techniques works best with the majority of students and that the adage "practice makes perfect" is particularly applicable in the Accounting arena. I am extremely flexible with my teaching style. I do not believe in the "one size fits all" approach that seems to be popular in text books and structured lesson plans. I believe it is important for a teacher to be able to shift gears mid lesson or adapt to each student as the need arises.
