Earning a BS in Materials Science and Engineering involves knowledge of math, physics, and chemistry. Grammatical and writing skills have been strengthened over the years by writing for the college newspaper, laboratory reports and an extensive amount of research papers due to interests in public policy. Engineers usually cannot write; I can. I tutored extensively in high school, it was my primary income stream, while college revolved more around study groups where whoever knew the most took the lead.
