During my sophomore year in high school I decided to begin tutoring ESL students. I found the ability to help others succeed very rewarding, and began tutoring fellow classmates in courses including but not limited to English, math, biology, and chemistry. These sometimes difficult subject always made sense to me and I enjoyed watching as the students I tutored were successful. I have had extensive education in Math and Physics through college and graduate school. I worked as research scientist for 14 years after graduating from school. In the past seven years, I have been working with children with learning disabilities (autism, etc). I have taught communication, language, self-help, social skills and elementary level academics, using a technique called Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). I am currently teaching part time at Globe University, I teach Business Math and Accounting.
