Elementary Phonics is one of my top subjects! I have taught phonics as an Elementary School Instructional Assistant. I worked on a reading intervention program that included phonics for young students. My lesson plans included a variety of phonic instruction such as blending, rhyming and syllable activities. Elementary Phonics is one of my top subjects! It is easier to learn to read, write, and spell by observing patterns. Phonics is a favorite way to make reading easier.

In groups large or small I have always individualized instruction. I get to know each student's interests and abilities, then build on the abilities using the interests. I believe students learn better when they find activities interesting and fun. I have had students come up to me in a hall years later saying remember when we did ...
