I used to teach Japanese to American people who were stationed in Naval Base, Japan. I worked at Naval base as a contract specialist for 15 years and moved US on 2008. I don't have teaching experience in US but I have two children, 16 and 18 years old and they both speak perfect Japanese. I like teaching them with watching Japanese TV shows and movies. I'm from Tokyo and don't have any accent with my Japanese.

My teaching style involves being open and relatable while keeping he conversation related to learning and the subjects of importance. I feel like students respond best when they are in a positive work environment and are pushed to be their best. This involves teaching through the Socratic method, of forcing individuals to answer their own questions.
