A Little Bit About Me...

Am practical with my teaching and know a lot about the uses of Adobe's design programs and Autodesk's 3D software.
Bachelors Degree in field that covered graphic design using programs such as Adobe Flash, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects, and Autodesk Maya. Have done work for around 5 clients since my Graduation and am entering a job as a 3D animator November 10. I am very comfortable with these programs and learned the practical uses you can get out of them.

I have been working with children ever since I can remember. I love to engage in creative activities with children while helping them utilize their strengths to overcome their limitations. I've learned that by figuring out what motivates a child, s/he can learn anything! I also know that if a child is having fun, it means that s/he is learning something. I graduated Magna Cum Laude in 2007 from SUNY Brockport with an undergraduate degree in Elementary Education, English and Special Education. I have worked as a substitute teacher in all grade levels and in all subject areas. I have been accepted into a high degree Masters program but feel I need to have a job to justify the repayment(s) of additional student loans that would be needed to finish my MA. I have recently been a four county advocate for people with special needs as the Disabilities Program Navigator. I would still hold this position if funding had not run out.
