Bachelors Degree in field that covered graphic design using programs such as Adobe Flash, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects, and Autodesk Maya. Have done work for around 5 clients since my Graduation and am entering a job as a 3D animator November 10. I am very comfortable with these programs and learned the practical uses you can get out of them. Am practical with my teaching and know a lot about the uses of Adobe's design programs and Autodesk's 3D software.

I have been working with children ever since I can remember. I love to engage in creative activities with children while helping them utilize their strengths to overcome their limitations. I've learned that by figuring out what motivates a child, s/he can learn anything! I also know that if a child is having fun, it means that s/he is learning something. My teaching style is fun, unique, focused, hands-on and engaging. I have spent my life working towards degrees that would help me to give my life meaning. I have earned a B.S. and M.S. in Speech-Language Pathology, as well as, a bilingual extension in Spanish. Since I also love healing through nutrition and energy work, I've earned degrees in Health Counseling and Reconnective Healing. I graduated Magna Cum Laude in 2007 from SUNY Brockport with an undergraduate degree in Elementary Education, English and Special Education. I have worked as a substitute teacher in all grade levels and in all subject areas. I have been accepted into a high degree Masters program but feel I need to have a job to justify the repayment(s) of additional student loans that would be needed to finish my MA. I have recently been a four county advocate for people with special needs as the Disabilities Program Navigator. I would still hold this position if funding had not run out. As a literacy volunteer I was awakened to a deep desire to achieve my degree in a career in the helping profession. This profession opened doors for a career change in education. I embraced the challenges of a teacher/professor for students ranging from kindergarten to senior citizens, both in the class room setting and one-on-one tutoring in the home settings and community programs.
