A Little Bit About Me...

I believe the best way to get ideas across to students and to help them become tangible, is to engage as many of the senses as possible. I realize every student has unique necessities when it comes to understanding different subjects, but I have found that the best way to teach is to create curiosity about the topic being taught and to apply the learning to real life. I use diagrams and real life stories that engage the curiosity of the student. I am patient and meticulous when teaching and make sure the student understands a matter before moving on to something more advanced. I studied Latin for five years, which provided an exceptional foundation for the study of English, which I pursued as my major at Loyola University.
