I have a passion for learning, teaching and helping others. I have earned a BS in mathematics as well as a MAE. I have over ten years of experience tutoring third grade through twelfth grade students and I am in my third year of teaching in public high schools. I believe with all of my heart that every child can learn and be successful with the right tools. I teach by guiding my students towards their goals as I believe that discovery learning is the most effective. I also believe that students learn best in a comfortable, fun and structured environment which I will provide.

bryan b - Tehachapi, CA 93561 (38.9 mi) - Statistics Tutor - $48.00/hr.
I really like to help people in general, that's the reason why I became a Resident Assistant. As a Resident Assistant I have aided many students with problems they may have in their first year of college, including tutoring them in subjects i am proficient in. I like to see people grow and learn over which is achieved by aiding a person in discovering and cultivating various talents. My tutoring experience isn't really too official. I mostly just help people with College Algebra around the dorms. I am pretty good with teaching and helping with math, and could probably do it at a High School level. Not actually having a BS probably will just limit me to high school tutoring. With the people skills I have developed working as an Resident Assistant I know I can be effective in helping high school students in math, biology, french, and chemistry.
