When I was a high school student, I tutored pre-algebra, geometry and algebra, Shakespeare, World Literature, and Earth Science. I managed my own clients and improved test scores with every client. During the summer of 2005, I tutored mentally disabled children in addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. I attended the University of Idaho and have received a B.S. in Mathematics. While there, I worked at the Polya Math Lab, tutoring college algebra. I continued to tutor on my own during college, and have tutored in all forms of vector calculus, from methods of integration to 3d modeling. I have also tutored Abstract Algebra (group and ring theory), Combinatorics, and Number Theory. I am particularly good at walking people through proofs. While at college, I have also helped people develop their writing skills by participating in over 4 semester-long workshops.

Making a difference in other people’s lives & having the pleasure to teach them valuable skills has been a gifted experience. With great leadership & enthusiasm I would like to continue this experience. My goal is to have my students master the main concepts & understand the theory not only to solve their homework problems but to solve any problem they may encounter in the future. I like to see people learn and the look on their faces once they understand. I do not believe that one style of teaching works for everyone. I like to work with the individual to evaluate how they learn before starting to teach.
Over the past 15 years or more I have mentored and coached hundreds of individuals. The primary areas of focus were math, statics (Statistical Process Control, Design of Experiments and Data Analysis) and Physics (Thermo Dynamics, Electronics and Modeling Processes plus problem solving).
