Since the time I was ABD, I have taught and tutored Latin, Greek, and Classics in translation classes both at the high school and college levels. Currently, I teach Latin (1st, 2nd, and 3rd year) at a local high school as well as Greek and Latin at the Pontifical College Josephinum. I recognize the weaknesses in English grammar background that most students have currently and teach Latin with that in mind. I also am able to explain the grammatical concepts that students often find difficult in a reasonable, easily comprehensible fashion. I expect my students to work hard and ask questions when they do not understand.
