Native French speaker, I have recently graduated from the University of Nebraska with bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering and Mathematics, both obtained with the highest distinctions. While acquiring the aforementioned degrees, I have tutored a tremendous amount of students in Mathematics, Civil Engineering, and French. This 3-year experience is preceded by my being a Mathematics/French Tutor for 2 years at Metropolitan Community College where I was obtaining my Associate’s Degree in Pre-Civil Engineering and Mathematics. I currently have a bachelors degree in sociology with a minor in elementary education. During the past 4 years and working in the early childhood education industry I realized that many teachers were not getting the proper training that they needed to receive to help the children that they are serving. Once I realized this I decided to work on my Master's degree in Early Childhood Education in hopes that i could be an Early Childhood College Professor and teach students the ins and outs of the early childhood industry. While getting my bachelors degree I tutored in subjects such as reading,writing, math, and science as well as art.
I believe that all students learn differently and should be treated as so; with this being said i believe that each student should work at their own pace and should be helped to find strategies that help them learn.
