My comments on tutoring English ESOL : I have been teaching an ESL conversation class for almost three years now, and I am currently pursuing a master's degree in TESOL.

My main goal is to help my students become more confident in their own abilities to learn material, improve skills, and express their ideas. I will not give anyone all the answers, and I will not do all the work for anyone, but I will help anyone to achieve his or her goals by providing the tools for success. I will never simply say that something is incorrect without explaining why. I try to center my students' interests in fun activities to make learning more exciting. I currently have a bachelors degree in sociology with a minor in elementary education. During the past 4 years and working in the early childhood education industry I realized that many teachers were not getting the proper training that they needed to receive to help the children that they are serving. Once I realized this I decided to work on my Master's degree in Early Childhood Education in hopes that i could be an Early Childhood College Professor and teach students the ins and outs of the early childhood industry. While getting my bachelors degree I tutored in subjects such as reading,writing, math, and science as well as art.
