Although I have never tutored before, I love working with kids and have always had a knack for school, which I hope will translate well into tutoring ability. My comments on tutoring Geography : Very familiar with world, national, and state geography.

My teaching style is very hands on, and student focused. I like to connect with whoever I teach on a personal level so that they can feel comfortable with me as a tutor and with themselves while learning how to approach old problems in new ways.
My experiences come from a mix of studies and real life application. I have studied various forms of writing, from professional, creative, and argumentative; these include gather sources and properly citing them in both MLA and APA formats. My personal applications of these writing materials have been for personal use in working on short stories and poems. I have an extensive history with drawing, mainly through personal sketches (both cartooning and realism). While in college, I have also studied several techniques that have greatly improved my drawing practices in the form of realistic drawing.

My comments on tutoring Geography : I enjoy helping students understand geography through comparing and contrasting to better understand our place in the world.

I have over 15 years experience working in the research and information fields. I have worked as a public librarian helping students with research, works cited, and educating them on educational databases that can assist them with school. I spent 8 years as a media specialist in a lower and middle school.
