I feel bad when a child says to her parents I can not do maths or science. This why I want to go back to the teaching field to foster the needy child in maths and science. The teacher also helps build a foundation in subject matter to help develop a lifelong appreciation and understanding of the world through different disciplines. In May of 2010, I successfully completed my fourth year of teaching. Each year has been different. The children of today learn in many different ways. There has been a change in learning styles over the course of time. Some children may learn through hands on activities and modeling, while others learn through lecture.
