In May of 2010, I successfully completed my fourth year of teaching. Each year has been different. The children of today learn in many different ways. There has been a change in learning styles over the course of time. Some children may learn through hands on activities and modeling, while others learn through lecture. I retired from a technical/executive career in the chemical industry. My last position was as VP of Operations and Innovation. I have a degree in Chemical Engineering, some graduate studies in applied math and in a Tennessee Teacher Education Program. I taught high school Chemistry and Anatomy/Physiology.
