A Little Bit About Me...

I am a recent graduate from the University of Florida from the College of Education with a BA in Elementary Education. I entered the ProTeach program during my junior year at UF. I have been exposed to a lot of teaching strategies and ideas that have been used in the classroom from the past until the present. I had the opportunity to use these practices in actual classrooms by developing lesson plans to teach elementary students. I have the experience of being the teacher in the classroom and working with students one-on-one with reading and math. I have recently earned my BA degree from the University of Florida in the field of Health Science. I have future plans to go to graduate school to become a Physicians Assistant, which will take me 2 years to complete once I get accepted. I am in the process of finishing my application now. I would go over the intoduction of the new topic with my student and go over the steps to answering the questions and repeating them until it clicks. I would like to start with the most simple question and work my way up to the more complicatde questions. As and questions or concerns pop up along the way I would address them so that there is no confusion of how each step in solving the problem is chosen.
