My comments on tutoring Spanish : I am a certified Spanish Teacher in TEXAS. I currently teach Spanish I (high school credit) and AP Spanish (advanced placement for high school and college credit). I have 13 years teaching experience and have a Bachelor's Degree in Spanish from the University of Texas at San Antonio.
I have taught Spanish in Texas for 13 years. I have lived out of the country in Mexico and attended the Universidad de Guanajuato in Guanajuato, Mexico and CEDIE language school in Monterrey, Nuevo Leon, Mexico. I have visited numerous Spanish speaking countries and am familiar with many dialects of Spanish. My Spanish degree is concentrated on Espanol Estandard, which is the academic Spanish language. I can teach in a wide variety of teaching styles and will accomadate each individual learner.
I incorporate reading, writing, speaking and listening, so that all areas of the language are equally developed. I like to use visuals and flashcards to represent Spanish vocabulary to enhance natural learning.
