My comments on tutoring Spanish : I am a certified Spanish Teacher in TEXAS. I currently teach Spanish I (high school credit) and AP Spanish (advanced placement for high school and college credit). I have 13 years teaching experience and have a Bachelor's Degree in Spanish from the University of Texas at San Antonio.

I incorporate reading, writing, speaking and listening, so that all areas of the language are equally developed. I like to use visuals and flashcards to represent Spanish vocabulary to enhance natural learning. I use the phonetic alphabet to help with correct pronunciation so that students may pronounce and learn words on his/her own once the alphabet sounds are mastered. Ultimately, I will modify sessions depending on the kind of learner and area of need that is specified by each student.
I have taught Spanish in Texas for 13 years. I have lived out of the country in Mexico and attended the Universidad de Guanajuato in Guanajuato, Mexico and CEDIE language school in Monterrey, Nuevo Leon, Mexico.
