Art and Graphic Design Tutor!

I have a BFA in Graphic Design from OSU. I am proficient in Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects, Dreamweaver. My Emphasis was in Illustration and studied traditional art forms in college as well. I have been tutored myself from age 8 and on into high school where I took various advanced drawing and painting courses. I can draw in charcoal, pencil, pen and ink and paint in colored pencil, chalk pastel, oil pastel, watercolor and acrylic. I also am versed in Art History and the origin of many techniques. My comments on tutoring Drawing : Currently a middle school art teacher

I'm an experienced graphic artist. I graduated from OSU in 2006 and still design for several clients. I was the only in-house graphic designer for America's Incredible Pizza Company. The operations office was located here in Tulsa; it closed in 2010 but continued to work for the company from home. I also held a position with Bullseye Database Marketing which designs primarily bank letters and stationary. The work from both companies was widely contrasted, so I feel that I have a wide range of experience in the design world. Very familiar with the printing process and how that system works after you've designed a piece. Very helpful to know before you start designing a piece so that you can keep production in mind. I believe teaching is about learning instead of the outcome. I practice "learning by doing" where they create their own style and way of accomplishing the task based on age appropriate methods and ways that work for them.
