A Little Bit About Me...

Being a recent graduate of a university I am able to relate to students and understand the academic setting. I enjoy teaching and am motivated to help students achieve results in the form of grades and understanding. I think each student has their own learning style and finding that is important to the teaching process.
As a recent graduate of a high ranking tech school with my BS in Business Administration and Materials Engineering I am very familiar with the academic setting and learning styles of various students. I like to take the dry facts and rules of a subject and engage the students -- primarily through Harkness Mehtod discourse -- on the relevance of the subject and text to contemporary life, whether to absorb material or simply for the learning experience of deconstruction. As a liberal arts graduate in 1981 with a BA in sociology, magna cum laude, I was driven to achieve a level of excellence in my academic career.
