I continued my work through their program during my breaks from being a student in college. On breaks, I was able to work approximately 40hrs/weeks. The most important thing to remember when teaching a child new concepts is patience. All children learn skills in different ways. Some catch on quickly, others need more time. Even the way in which you demonstrate how a problem is solved can make a difference. I usually try several methods for solving problems rather than insist that they learn the traditional methods only. The little bit of extra time spent giving them the optional techniques could make a world of difference in their educational success.

Always recognize what type of problems they have, whether it's academically or personally. During college, I worked as a Teaching Assistant at Duquesne University for 4 years. There I helped to teach the Pharmaceutics Principles Lab to professional Pharmacy Students. Outside of college, I have recently taught math, science and geography to middle school students.
