I have just completed my 9th year of teaching in Spring 2009, in which I have mostly taught Mathematics as well as Language Arts, History, and Religion. My BS in Elementary Education along with my teaching minor in Math, has enabled me to gain an understanding of not only math, but also the average student as well; no matter what the age. Rather than stressing rote memorization, I believe it is more important to relate overall concepts in a "partnering" style.
