I love working with children of all ages. I really like elementary age children. I have a hands-on approach to education. I want kids to get their hands into activities so that they may retain things longer. Now I do realize that not every student is hands-on. That is the responsibility of a teacher or tutor to find out what works for each student and set the envioronment for each learning experience.

A Little Bit About Me...

As graduating with a degree in the Psychology field I have come to understand children better. I understand that all children can learn, but there are different techniques in teaching that a teacher may have to use from child to child. Being a tutor you get to understand each child and work with them one on one and understand that specific child's learning ability. I have taught children for nine years and I am aware that children learn through a positive energetic person that makes learning fun. I have learned a lot going to a academically challenging college.
