My philosophy is that each student should be presented with the best opportunities for learning. I believe that each child is a unique individual with specific needs and learning styles such as visual, audio, kinetic or through reading and writing. I am known for "thinking outside the box" and draw upon any and all resources that might help a child learn better. I believe that once a student can enjoy the process of learning they can begin to internalize the good study habits required for academic success. I use a constructivist teaching method and often use Socratic teaching as a means to have students thinking independently about their work. I am also interested in learning how each student learns so as to get the best results. I believe I'm a natural teacher, enthusiastic, intelligent, and an unusual memory for detail.
