My philosophy is that each student should be presented with the best opportunities for learning. I believe that each child is a unique individual with specific needs and learning styles such as visual, audio, kinetic or through reading and writing. I am known for "thinking outside the box" and draw upon any and all resources that might help a child learn better. I am patient, encouraging, and use methods that empower a child in the learning environment.
I have worked with children since 1991. My concentration during my undergraduate studies was neuroendocrinology. However, after attaining my B.A. in Psychology, I loved working with children so much that I decided to work in the mental health field, serving children and adolescents.
