I believe in following the Socratic method in my teaching, and encourage students to ask questions and take command of their own learning. Frequently I will have the students take turns presenting problems or answers to questions that they have asked me themselves in class before. I've found that occasionally the best way for a student to learn is to have them research the answers to their questions on their own, and present their findings to the class as a whole.
