A Little Bit About Me...

I was in the top 10% of my class at an elite college preparatory school and earned a BA in Economics from the University of Chicago. This has exposed me to great teachers and a variety of different teaching styles. I studied cello and piano formally for 7 and 10 years, respectively, and taught cello for 2 years. In high school I taught Adult English-as-a-Second Language classes for 2 years. I've also taught skiing and guided young children in after school art and literature programs for several years. I have not taught professionally, but I do have to help roommates and classmates with their work on a regular basis. I like to give them little tricks and tips for figuring out different kinds of problems. I don't like to just tell them how to do the problem.
