I've worked with children in many differnt areas of education and with children on many different levels. My focus was on children with disabilities and speech/language disorders. I've worked with children w/developmental delays and regular education children. I've also served as a tutor to children in my area w/learning disabilities. I have a BS in Speech Pathology w/a minor in Special education and I am currently working on my MS Ed in School Counseling. I will graduate from the Univ of Southern MS in May 2011. I've tutored children in English, Math, Science, and Reading. I absolutely love working with children of all ages. I love to see the end results from working one on one w/ a child at the end of a session. I am very patient, and a firm believer that every child can learn!

As a graduate from the University of Phoenix I understand the importants of higher education. I have earned a bachelors degree in Pychology/Education, which has enabled me to gain an understanding in many areas of math, science, and reading. As part of my training I have learned extensive grammatical skills due to writing research papers and power point with notes. During the past 10 years I have tutored students of all ages in English, reading, math, science, social studies, computer skills, and basic life skills. I love teaching and working with children, I believe all children can learn, but in different ways. Each child should be able to feel like they have academic success, even if it is not the same as other students.
