Currently, I am a student attending the University of Tennessee in Knoxville. At UT, I am majoring in Microbiology and maintaining a 3.18 GPA. During my education, I have had great opportunities to study the sciences and mathematics; however, history and philosophy are fun to study as well. In my studies of science, I have studied through all introductory biology and chemistry classes including both sections of organic chemistry. Pre-Algebra is one of my top subjects! I have many years experience including areas like surface area, system of equations etc.

I have a classroom in my apartment actually because I used to teach students in China until the Ministry of education changed. As a result, I have close to four years experience in online teaching with a hardwire Internet connection and lights. I also have a few classroom props that I enjoy using. Students find that I am patient and I have a sense of humor. Having rapport with a student is one of the most important skills, if not the most important skill that a tutor could use.
As a 20 year teacher, I have worked with students from a variety of backgrounds and situations. I enjoy finding ways to help learners accomplish things that they thought were just impossible a few weeks earlier. While, I have worked with all students from K 12 . My teaching style can be called old-fashioned: the best results come from patient, focused, disciplined time on task. To learn math one must work a variety of problems, and practice them diligently.
