Taught Kindergarten through 8th grade. Currently, work with students with special needs, developmental delays, autism,dyslexia and dyscalclia. Previous supervisor of a behavior health program for children with special needs and/or who had experienced trauma in their lives. Taught children's theatre for many years and put on exciting productions! Specialize in writing, reading, and wrote a unique app for learning how to read.
Children say that I am so patient and relaxed. One little girl asked me last week, "how come I don't grate on your nerves? My mom says I grate on her nerves." Well, no child has ever "grated on my nerves" :) Children know I care about them and we develop a mutual respect for each other.

A Little Bit About Me...

As a graduate of Sociology I have gained a lot of knowledge about how society functions. I was interested in this area of study to understand peoples because I have always had compassion for others. I have participated in a 4 unit class where i taught Spanish to 8-11 year old children and it consisted of developing a plan that included songs and dancing to learn Spanish in a fun and animated way.
