A Little Bit About Me...

I graduated from Hope College in three years with a BS in Biology, a BA in Chemistry, and a minor in Classical Studies. I tutored throughout high school and college. I have tutored Latin (both into and upper level courses), Math (high school), history (high school,) Mythology (college), Biology (both intro and upper level courses), and Chemistry (both intro and upper level courses). In college, I was also a TA for Organic Chemistry discussion workshops, as well as biochemistry and organic chemistry labs. Also in college, I worked with science camps, grades 1-5. I have also worked at a summer camp, working with kids ages 8-20. I also have experience teaching Sunday school ages 4-12.

A Little Bit About Me...

My undergraduate years at Princeton University instilled in me a passion for learning and a personal commitment to academic excellence. Most of my adult work life has been focused on coaching individuals to overcome handicaps and maximize their potential as successful, competent learners. I have had 12 years teaching experience at the high school and college levels. This experience has included individual tutoring as well as classroom teaching. Through training experiences in School Psychology, I have had much experience in counseling and tutoring students who have learning disabilities. Currently, I teach at Cleveland State University in Psychology.
