After graduating from an Ivy League college, I obtained my Master's Degree in Computer Science while working as a professional software developer. I also taught AP Computer Science for 2 years at an elite private school. I am an excellent standardized test taker (SAT, ACT, Praxis) and can share many test taking tips and strategies that have helped students improve their scores. I managed software development activities and projects at various software companies. I an excellent at explaining difficult concepts and helping people make sense of things.
I am patient, but have high expectations. I think most people don't really know what they are capable of achieving.

Teaching is an art that needs to be perfected based on each individual child’s needs. I am a very demanding teacher, but at the same time always fair and give positive reinforcement while the student is learning and of course, when they have obtained their goals. I teach using a variety of strategies, but feel that hands on learning works best for most students, especially those in a tutoring atmosphere.
