Elementary Tutor

I have taught elementary school for the past six years. I worked in an inclusive classroom where I differentiated for the needs of all students. I particularly love teaching reading, writing, and math. I have run many intervention programs, piloted new curriculum, and served as a literacy coordinator in my school to advance the teaching of reading and writing.

I am a very motivating teacher. I encourage my students to strive to do their best with the philosophy that they will be amazed at what they can accomplish. I try to get my students excited about the maaterial by incorporating fun stories, experiments, videos, or examples into the material. I am very patient and believe that repitition is a key to learning.
