I am a very motivating teacher. I encourage my students to strive to do their best with the philosophy that they will be amazed at what they can accomplish. I try to get my students excited about the maaterial by incorporating fun stories, experiments, videos, or examples into the material. As a high school student, I began teaching Sunday School and continued throughout my college years. While stationed in the USAF in Alaska, I decided to pursue teaching as a career. Upon completing college with a BS degree in Mathematics with an education emphasis, I began teaching high school math and science. I have taught in five different schools for a total of 31 years.
