Online tutor - Physics

I teach Physics since 1993. I have a private tuition center of my own in Athens (Greece) and started teaching online in 2009. My experience has to do with over 40000 teaching hours of all levels, containing IB courses, GCSE etc. Apart from teaching, I am an author (articles on Physics) in a well known scientific Greek magazine. I manage about 20 tutors and 100 students and their parents every year, so I face the problems and the goals of education.

I have a BS in Mechanical and Aerospace engineering from MIZZOU. I am very proficient in technical editing, critiquing papers and writing technical papers.
Hands on, Practice based, through step by step instruction. Visual learning whenever applicable. Geometry, algebra, physics, and some calculus are in my range of teaching. As an undergraduate at Slippery Rock University, I was approached by my adviser and chair-person in Physics to tutor their physics classes. I accepted their offer and within the two years of tutoring physics I enjoyed helping fellow students learn and understand the concepts of physics. Also, while helping others I could use the knowledge I have learned in previous classes and gain a better understanding of the field of physics. I am currently in the 3-2 Physics/Engineering program between Penn State and Slippery Rock studying Electrical Engineering. I have recently completed the first 3 years at Slippery Rock and in the fall will be attending Penn State University. A Little Bit About Me...

I my experience in learning and teaching anatomy, which revolves around learning concepts as well as brute memorization, each student, has learned in his or her own unique way. Because of this I feel it is hard to describe my "teaching style." One aspect of teaching that I feel I am very successful in understands each students learning style and being able to adapt to it. I consider myself a very patient and understanding person and never feel that I place "pressure" on students. I personally believe that a person learns better if they are in a comfortable situation.
