Genetics is one of my top subjects! I have been a genetics counselor for 13 years. Masters degree in genetic counseling from Arcadia University. I am also certified as a genetic counselor. Worked as a genetic counselor in a prenatal setting, metabolics, newborn screening, and molecular genetics. My expertise is in metabolic genetics but all human genetics is in my range of experience. I can also assist with the certification exam for genetic counseling.

I have been a genetic counselor for 13 years from an accredited college in Pennsylvania. First, I worked as a prenatal counselor but switched to newborn screening and metabolic genetics for the majority of my career. I earned certification as a genetic counselor in 2009. I have taught high school students the basics of genetics in a classroom as well as taught masters degree students.
I believe students learn in different ways so I will make sure to provide different formats to allow the student to achieve learning success. There will be written work, visual presentations by myself as well as having the student present what they have learn to demonstrate comprehension. If there are any questions, please ask!

I love working with children of all ages and abilities and helping them with academics. I don't believe I have a specific teaching style. I know that I have to be flexible and creative with each student. Everyone learns differently, and I feel it is my obligation to find what works for each child. I do belive in providing hands on and real life scenarios when teaching.
I have been very successful in academics throughout my education. I was valedictorian of my high school, and I received the top honors in English, French, and Accounting. I also maintained a 4.0 average throughout my college education.
