I have a Bachelor of Art in History, predominantly American. I also pursued Engineering for my first year and plan to go back to College. I have had an opportunity to teach in several different locations and age groups. I believe that the best way to learn mathematics is with repetition. After explaining a concept to a student and doing a few examples, the student should do several problems on their own to reinforce what they have learned. I have earned a bachelor’s degree in mathematics, and a master’s degree in statistics, which have made me very knowledgeable in several areas of mathematics. As a graduate student, I was a teaching assistant for two introductory statistics courses (one more theoretical than the other), and am very well aware of how students learn statistical concepts.
