Awesome Chemistry Tutor

I am a huge proponent of active learning. I engage the student in solving problems, taking notes, and reviewing past work (tests, quizzes, labs, and homework). I am a helping and caring teacher. I want my students to do well and we use the entire tutoring time to make that happen.

After serving 4 years in the US Air Force I got out and completed my undergraduate degree in chemistry at the University of West Florida. I relate well to high school and college students. I'm from Indiana originally and decided to come back and pursue an MBA at the University of Indianapolis. I enjoy tutoring students and helping them see the beauty of math and science. I like to have a relationship with the students I tutored where they feel comfortable with me; I want them to be able to tell me the problems they're having with the work and what I can do to help.
