My learning and teaching preference is reading/writing. I adjust to students who are visual, auditory, and kinesthetic learners. I like to use examples to drive concepts home, to make them relevant to my students' lives, and to ground these concepts in reality. Examples include, say, how geometry is used to create movie 3D special effects, or how algebra is used in sound editing in a sound studio. I also intersperse jokes and puns to help the student relax and be assured that (s)he is in a safe, secure environment for comfortable learning.

A Little Bit About Me...

Each student has different ways to learn. Some students require a more visual approach while ohers prefer repetion through listening and writing. I try to find the best way to help students learn and retain information. I believe that with the right help, every student has the potential to achieve academic success.
I have an extensive experience in the field of tutoring. For the past eight years, I have work with students from age kindergarten to highschool. From one-on-one tutoring, small groups, to helping a class of more than 60 students. Therefore, I can recognize each student's ability and devised a studying plan to help them improve their weaknesses. A Little Bit About Me...

During the last four years, I have spent a large amount of time working with, and around middle school and High school students. I have spent time in the classroom, worked with small groups, and spent one summer working with multiple summer camps up and down the coast. I love working with students, especially individually or in smaller groups. I also have expierence as a help desk specialist, which allows me to work with and around computers.
