I earned a Bachelors degree in Elementary Education from Plymouth State in New Hampshire in 1975. I have 16 years teaching experience at the elementary level teaching 5 years of 2nd grade, 8 years of 4th grade, 1 year of 5th grade, 1 year of 1st grade, and 1 year of 5/6 Language Arts and Science Resource teacher experience. I also taught 1 year at the Junior High level teaching 8th grade Pre-Algebra. I love teaching because of the difference it makes in a child's life. I am easy to get along with and have a great sense of humor. I will apply all learning styles possible in given circumstances to ensure success and the sense of accomplishment. I am very dedicated to other interests and activities in students lives. I have experience both tutoring degree level students in Geophysics and in mentoring junior programmers in programming C and C++. My science knowledge is second to none, and I am an extremely enthusiastic teacher. At school my strong math lead me to win the physics prize, and I continued with my interest in quantitative science through to my doctorate. Recently I have been developing my own software application, which uses both vector and matrix math in its design. My teaching style has been to enthuse my students. I find the physical and mathematical models of the world to be fascinating, and try and show how exciting these models are to my listeners. Passing on that knowledge is incredibly rewarding, and I believe that I can present any scientific principal in an interesting way.

I have been a student and an educator all my life. I have successfully taught for about 5 years in the U.S.A. and also overseas. I have a very strong background in Science and teaching any subject in many areas of science is my delight. I am also certified and qualified to teach Spanish at any level, not only because Spanish is my native language, but because I have studied at a higher level in both languages, English and Spanish. I have an extensive background in the Spanish language. I have done studies at the University of La Paz, Bolivia. I finished my High School Education in Cuba covering Spanish Literaturei in depth. I have lived in Spain the native land of my parents off and on all my life. I believe everyone can learn, but we all learn in different ways.
