I began working with children at the age of 10 in the capacity of babysitter/activities director. As a teen I began working in daycare centers and have worked in the capacity of teacher/assistant teacher/ director/owner. I have taught public school in Florida and the Bronx, NY over the past 5 years. I have worked as a drop-out prevention teacher and have had the privileged to work with a large number of disadvantaged and at-risk students.
I have strong classroom management skills and a passion for helping kids gain a better understanding for anything under the sun! My comments on tutoring Writing : Qualified in this subject by WyzAnt. Also, I was the Editor-in- Chief of the monthly bulletin published by the Associated Public Safety Communications Officers which was headquartered in New Smyrna Beach, FL. I also acted in this capacity for a cultural magazine called "Flair" for a two year period while residing in Vienna, Austria. For each of these publications I wrote original articles, solicited and proofread the submissions of free lance authors and worked in close coordination with professional writers.

For the greater part of my life I have been involved in various facets of education.
