As a graduate of the University of Oklahoma, I began my teaching career in mathematics at the junior high school level. I taught Algebra I to eighth graders. While teaching, I returned to school and received my M.Ed as a Reading Specialist. After working in that area for a few years, I became an inner city high school principal. I remained in that capacity for approximately twenty years. I was searching for a new challenge and joined the Oklahoma State Regents for Higher Education to administer an AmeriCorp grant called Smart Start for Brain Gain 2010. As a Physics major I have a deep understanding of both mathematics and multiple fields of science. During my time as both a high school and college student I have tutored privately in subjects such as: Physics I and II; College Algebra, Calculus I, II and III; Differential Equations and many more upper-level physics and math courses.
