I have been in school the last 10 years. I earned two Liberal Arts degrees in 2005. I also earned a BS in Civil Engineering from Cal Poly Pomona in 2009. During my college years, I tutored college level math and college level physics. I also worked for a private tutoring company in Montclair, CA. My specialty are Math, Chemistry and Physics. I also speak fluent Spanish.
I like to teach individual or group lessons. At college of the Desert, I had a reputation for being an easy going with a lot of patience when tutoring. My initial approach is always to first assess a student's needs, goals, learning style, and accomplishments. Next, I pick a strategy to approach the needs of the student. For example, I might select a straight-forward text or document from which I could teach loosely, such as the book "With Good Reason". (It is an excellent text on argumentative methods.)
